What are Ethos looking for?

As a potential Board Member, you will have an interest in housing, health and/or social care. You may have specific experience to bring which may be functional (e.g. IT, finance, marketing, HR) or geographical (to ensure that we have a good representation across the county) or specific knowledge of a special interest group (e.g. Spinal Cord Injury, physical disability).

What will being a Board Member mean for me?

30 hours per year

Each board member should be able to commit to at least 30 hours per year

bi-monthly meetings

Attending bi-monthly Board meetings in Oswestry Shropshire and additional meetings such as working groups or a committee of the Board.

induction programme

An induction programme and administrative support will help you understand the work that Ethos is undertaking.

support & training

All successful volunteers appointed to the Board will be provided with support and any necessary training and resources to enable them to fully participate.
